Experience STEM by building a 3D printer!
3D printing and digital fabrication are at the forefront of many evolving and emerging industries from high-tech to manufacturing. Students in this course will learn the introductory concepts and skills needed to succeed for their future.

Who can take this course?
Open to all high school-aged students (13-19).
What will participants learn?
Participants build, customize, and learn to maintain their own 3D printer which they will take home after the camp. Participants will also become proficient in the use of 3D modeling software.
Who’s teaching the course?
The course is taught and administered by trained maker-members of Spacelab, a makerspace with over a decade’s history in the south suburbs. Our members are trained educators, academics, and technical professionals from the community.

Hack Night | Access to our members-only hack nights, scheduled every other Thursday night from registration until the end of July |
